Want to enjoy a delicious dessert without the guilt? Well now you can with this easy to prepare Chocolate Pudding. Makes 2 healthy servings.
What you will need:
1 Cup Almond Milk
4 Tbls Chia Seeds
2 Medjool Dates
1 Heaped Tbls Cacao
1 tsp Pure vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1 Tbls Pure Maple Syrup
Extras:
peanuts
banana, sliced
puffed buckwheat
caramel sauce
granola
whatever other yummies you would like to layer..
Method:
1. Soak the chia seeds and dates in the almond milk for a couple of hours or overnight. I soak mine in the morning then make dessert that night.
2. Add the soaked mixture to your blender with the remaining pudding ingredients and blend until smooth.
3. Use a pretty, tall glass for individual servings, layer chocolate pudding with your toppings, I like sliced banana, peanuts, puffed buckwheat and caramel sauce. Feel free to experiment with other toppings as your taste buds dictate!
